Union

Finally I got a chance to try the infamous red velvet in Union, Plaza Senayan. 

It was super crowded when I was there. 

Well, it was weekend and it was lunch time.

But the interesting point was many people were lining up in the bakery station (located exactly at the entrance) just to get this cake to go.

As for me, I preferred to have this cake on the spot with a nice cup of coffee. 

Red Velvet cake (50k)

I was surprised when the waitstaff came out with the cake. It was much bigger than I thought. This cake could feed 2 - 3 people (depends on the stomach capacity of the person).
I found the texture to be interesting. It was moist and crunchy at the same time because of the caramelized peanuts inside the cake.

Overall, I can say that this cake is quite delish. Although a little bit too sweet for my taste.
But, it can be compromised with a nice cup of black coffee.
I totally recommend you to try it if you haven't.
And I heard the other cakes are also delish. Definitely will try those on my next visit.
